Vertical Transport Manager

The Discipline Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing an end-to-end maintenance program for Vertical services.

This includes planned and reactive maintenance services, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, contractual obligations, business procedures, and requirements.

The role requires observing and documenting witness testing throughout the testing and commissioning programme, attending and documenting outcomes from OCC walks across all tunnel and station locations.

Additionally, the role involves supporting the review and successful acceptance of O&M Manuals, leveraging systems and mobile tools to capture observations and validate the asset register.

The successful candidate will have a Trade Qualification or relevant discipline experience, proven experience in operational leadership, subcontractor management, and budgeting.

They will also possess strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract claim negotiation and cost control, in-depth knowledge of building maintenance practices and industry regulations.

Furthermore, they will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, proficiency in Project Management tools and Microsoft office suite.

Lastly, the successful candidate will have sound knowledge of OHS&E regulations, Codes of Practice, AS3000:2000, and safe working practices.
