Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

The position of Mental Health Clinician is a key role within our multidisciplinary team, providing focused psychological strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of people accessing mental health services.

  • This includes comprehensive assessment, brief and ongoing interventions, risk management and care planning, as well as collaboration with healthcare networks to plan and coordinate individualized psychosocial interventions.

Key requirements for this position include having one of the following registrations: General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. In addition, applicants must demonstrate a comprehensive level of knowledge, expertise and skill in areas such as Brief Intervention Models of Care, commitment to professional development and willingness to participate in continuous learning, and well-developed judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning.

Essential Requirements:
  • Mandatory qualifications include:
    • General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist;
    • Clinical Psychologist;
    • Mental Health Occupational Therapist;
    • Mental Health Nurse;
    • AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker;
  • Additionally, candidates must exhibit:
