Job Role

The Facilities and Asset Manager is a vital position that oversees trade and day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple properties. This role protects assets, manages projects, ensures preventative maintenance plans are in place, maintains regulatory requirements, and leads emergency responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance department budget and capital expenditure projects
  • Ensure preventative maintenance plans are in place and maintained
  • Maintain all regulatory requirements and ensure compliance
  • Lead the emergency response from the property perspective
About You

We invite applications from individuals with relevant tertiary qualifications and proven expertise in collaboration, asset management, compliance, operations, and training. Extensive experience in facilities and project management is essential, along with a strong understanding of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a solid background in managing budgets and maintaining complex building systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, pumps, and generators. Proficiency in systems such as Direct Digital Controls (DDC), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is also required.
