Lead a Fitness Club to Success

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fitness Club Operations Manager to lead our brand-new club. The successful candidate will be responsible for launching and managing the club, ensuring its success through exceptional member experience, high-performing teams, and excellent facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for health and fitness, and a proven track record in KPI-driven environments. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our club and inspiring members to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Launch and manage the club, setting clear objectives and driving performance improvement.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff management, member relations, and facility maintenance.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and coach department heads to achieve business outcomes and exceed targets.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and continuous learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a large health club (20+ staff, 2,000+ members).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • A people-first approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Full Australian working rights.
