About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Risk and Compliance team within Central Finance. As a key member of our Financial Management Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of high-profile initiatives and ensuring compliance with our policies, standards, and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the controls uplift book of work within Central Finance and the wider Finance teams, focusing on risk monitoring, training, and governance activities.
  • Drive the implementation of high-profile initiatives and provide valuable insights and recommendations to stakeholders on ongoing compliance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk management and compliance best practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance within a financial institution.
  • Experience in risk and compliance advisory and governance roles, with a strong track record of driving business outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Confident in presenting to senior audiences and writing reports and memos.
