About the Role

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving business growth and partnerships for CommBank. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and develop business opportunities through strategic partnerships and relationships.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including lenders and their managers.
  • Business Strategy: Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to drive growth and improvement.
  • Risk Management: Assess and identify potential risks that may impact the company's reputation, safety, security, and financial prosperity.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to source, establish, and manage relationships with external business partners to generate high volumes of business outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of residential lending processes and terminology.
  • Leadership Skills: Expertise in establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic business partners and developing mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to navigate and apply Bank systems.
  • Education and Experience: Relevant financial services experience or a business-related degree (economics, marketing, finance, business).
  • Business Development Experience: Demonstrated capability and experience in business development roles.
