Corporate Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Development leader to provide strategic support across our business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth, identify new opportunities, and deliver high-impact transactions.

About the Role

This Corporate Development position will involve leading transactional activities, managing project evaluation, opportunity identification, due diligence, business integration, and strategy development. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical, commercial, and project management support to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of new growth opportunities and assess their viability through financial, commercial, market, and risk analysis.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end deal execution on major business transactions, including project management of technical teams, stakeholder communication, and integration planning.
  • Collaborate with senior management and the board to develop investment proposals and present detailed, high-quality presentations and papers.
  • Provide ongoing engagement with key internal and external stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
  • Maintain group-wide consistency and reporting through effective management of internal verification processes, industry datasets, and peer information.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Tertiary level education in finance, business, engineering, geology, or mineral economics.
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in natural resources project/asset evaluation, corporate analysis, and due diligence within the mining industry.
  • Strong analytical capability, including high-level analytical and financial modeling skills, and excellent technical and commercial evaluation skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
