Program Delivery and Business Traineeship Supervisor Role

Job Summary:

As a Program Delivery and Business Traineeship Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Workplace Skills Traineeship. This includes supervising trainees, managing workflow, implementing health and safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with contract guidelines, targets, internal policies, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise 10 trainees to complete their Work Skills Traineeship
  • Develop and implement programs that meet the needs of trainees
  • Implement case management framework focusing on possibilities for trainees
  • Respond to and deliver programs in accordance with contract guidelines, requirements, and legislation
  • Undertake responsibility for program logistics, participant support, and liaison with relevant stakeholders
  • Compile useful case notes and data
  • Identify and recruit trainees who can benefit from our traineeship in collaboration with the General Manager
  • Ensure specified programs are resourced, delivered, and completed as needed
  • Host program evaluation and reflection sessions
  • Establish timelines and resources for specified programs and ensure they are met
  • Define work plans for assigned services and activities
  • Source facilities for programs
  • Seek work placements for participants/clients in relevant programs
  • Gather resources for programs and events, including board meetings
  • Operate in accordance with organizational purpose, values, and principles
  • Compile relevant data, statistics, and information for final reports
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse groups
  • Proven ability to supervise staff and manage teams
  • Ability to plan and deliver training sessions
Reporting Relationships:

This role reports directly to the General Manager.

The incumbent must maintain strong working relationships with other team members and report regularly on service delivery progress.
