Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operational Technology Technician Assistant to join our team. As an Operational Technology Technician Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and systems.

In this hands-on role, you will report directly to the Mt Arthur South Electrical, Technology and Infrastructure Superintendent and be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and installation of infrastructure and systems which support the Operational Technology (OT), Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and other smart machine systems used on Mt Arthur South site.

Responsibilities
  1. Installations and maintenance on mobile fleet
  2. Installations and maintenance on mine backhaul network
  3. Carry out inspections and repairs during machine overhauls
  4. Perform system upgrades as required
  5. Build close working relationship with equipment OEMs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Driver's license
  • Experience working in an open cut mining environment
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Network maintenance, Fleet Management System (FMS) and other smart machine systems
  • Cert III in Telecommunications, Electronics or Electrotechnology (desirable)
  • Certificate of Proficiency - in Telecommunications, Electronics or Electrotechnology (desirable)
