Job Opportunity:

We are seeking to fill multiple APS4 Payments Officer positions.

The successful candidates will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to investigate and resolve outstanding payment requests and process manual payments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve rejected payment requests
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment enquiries
  • Process manual payments to providers and participants
  • Work to resolve payment issues, guided by legislation, standards, and operating procedures
  • Contribute to decision-making within the team
  • Meet performance targets
  • Maintain knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks
  • Maintain an awareness of government decision-making processes, guidelines, and regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong administration and data entry skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Sound judgement, able to work independently
  • Flexible and responsive approach to stakeholder needs
  • Strong IT skills

Eligibility Criteria: Australian citizenship is required for this role.
