Job Opportunity:

We seek an independent Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join a multidisciplinary team working on industry-leading mine automation solutions involving hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing and verification of requirements:
    • Verifying quality of autonomy products against requirements
    • Documenting and resolving deviations
    • Completing verification with appropriate detail
  • Developing and executing manual and automated tests:
    • Designing manual test cases based on requirements
    • Planning automation for regression testing
    • Executing tests, recording outcomes, and reporting bugs
    • Supporting defect analysis and closure activities
  • Providing stakeholder expertise:
    • Advising on QA best practices during design and implementation
    • Participating in reviews, upskilling, and process improvements
    • Training verification teams for autonomy product maintenance
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Desirable: Tertiary qualification in IT or related field
    • ISTQB Foundation / CTFL certification
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years in software testing or similar roles
    • Team-oriented with flexible communication
    • Experience testing applications, hosted environments, and microservices
    • Automation framework experience is advantageous
    • Knowledge of test management tools and processes
    • Understanding of mining and safety-critical systems is beneficial
  • Skills:
    • Strong in test analysis, design, execution, and closure
    • Requirement traceability expertise
    • Proficiency with Windows and Linux/Unix OS
    • Experience with version control (e.g., Git)
    • Familiarity with XML and JSON message formats
