About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead our Funds Management team. As a Senior Funds Management Reporting Leader, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting process for our clients in the Sydney office. You will work closely with our accounting and tax teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and tax reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial reporting process for our clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with our accounting and tax teams to resolve any reporting issues or queries
- Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial reporting
- Provide expert advice on Australian Accounting Standards and tax rules to our clients
- Lead and manage a team of financial reporting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and expectations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in funds management and financial reporting, preferably in a custodian, superannuation fund, or investment manager environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and tax rules
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- A degree in accounting, commerce, or finance, ideally with a CA or CPA qualification
- Experience with unit pricing and unit registry concepts
- Client service and relationship management experience
What We Offer:
In return for your expertise and experience, we offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on your background and qualifications. This is a permanent opportunity with a global financial institution, offering a stable and challenging work environment. To be considered for this role, you must hold an Australian PR or be an Australian citizen.
