Job Description

This role focuses on delivering conflict resolution services to families separated by divorce or separation. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary degree in Social Sciences, Law, or a related field and a post-graduate qualification in Conflict Resolution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess each case to determine suitability for family dispute resolution according to established regulations.
  • Moderate disputes in separated families taking into account the needs and interests of all parties involved.
  • Provide clients with information regarding the family law system and relevant sections of the Australian Family Law Act 1975.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with the FRC child inclusive case management and client activity data collection process.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Law, or a related discipline and a post-graduate qualification in Conflict Resolution.
  • Certification from the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department, Family Dispute Resolution Branch.
  • A valid driver's license and Blue Card.
