Job Description

This is a leadership position requiring a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS), with practical experience in running a high-quality centre that meets regulatory obligations.

The role involves overseeing the daily operation of the centre and providing innovative guidance to a team of experienced educators. The successful candidate will be hands-on, supporting and guiding educators in all aspects of the industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent qualification approved by Acceqa.
  • Proven leadership and management experience as a 2IC/Centre Manager, with a track record of growing a service and team culture.
  • Experience working with children, including a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for Child-Related Employment.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build constructive working relationships with families and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement performance review processes and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislative policies, standards, and requirements, including the Early Years Learning Framework.
