
Archive Administrator

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and agile information management team.
You will play a pivotal part in our organisation, responsible for appraisal, cataloguing and storage of paper-based and digital archival records. Additionally, you will be involved in staff and public engagement activities, as well as facilitating research for internal and external clients.
A key aspect of this role is overseeing the retrospective scanning and cataloguing of hard copies.
You will have the chance to work with an excellent council, broadening your local government experience and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have local government experience, particularly in Building and Statutory Planning correspondence. Experience in archiving or records roles is highly desirable.
Either qualifications in Information Management or proven experience within the field are required. You should also possess expertise in PDF manipulation and a process-driven approach.
Proficiency with MS Suite is essential, along with a positive and proactive attitude towards work.
You will be required to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday, with the potential for a 4-day working week. On-site work is required.
