We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Systemic Change Specialist.
This role is part of the forefront of major systemic change in mental health service delivery. You will be working within the Geelong - Queenscliffe Mental Health and Wellbeing Local, a unified system prioritizing safety, well-being, and empowerment for people affected by Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD).
The successful candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders involved in AOD prevention and intervention.
You will conduct educational sessions and workshops for community groups, schools, and organizations to raise awareness about AOD, prevention strategies, and available support services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining effective relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders involved in AOD prevention and intervention.
- Conducting educational sessions and workshops for community groups, schools, and organizations to promote awareness about AOD, prevention strategies, and available support services.
- Responding promptly and effectively to AOD situations, including referral to appropriate support services.
- Acting as an advocate for consumers, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices heard within relevant settings.
- Developing and implementing individualized case plans, coordinating the provision of support services, and maintaining accurate records.
