About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team at Hitachi Construction Machinery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers' equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support on Hitachi equipment, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure work sites are kept tidy and all paperwork is up to date.
  • Conduct work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
  • OEM equipment experience highly regarded.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service etiquette.
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.
