Are you a seasoned professional looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader to join our team as a Coordinator Landfill Operations.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that involves overseeing day-to-day landfill and recycling operations. You will be responsible for managing staff and contractors, working with engineers to design future cell construction, and ensuring compliance with Environmental Protection Licenses (EPL) and our Strategic Plans.

  • Operate and manage leachate extraction and treatment plants at operational and closed landfill sites.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Management Systems, Work Health Safety plans, and Closure Plans.
  • Implement innovative measures to improve operations and supervise capital works.
About You

We are looking for someone with relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive job-related experience. You should also have a current Class C Drivers Licence, demonstrated environmental management skills, and a comprehensive knowledge of legislation relating to waste management, environment, local government, and Work Health Safety.

  • Demonstrated understanding of plant operations, construction of landfills, and recycling of engineering waste.
  • Experience in the preparation of contract briefs and supervision of projects.
  • Well-developed supervisory and organisational skills.
