The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Business Affairs Coordinator within our Commercial team, which operates under the TV and Online Content Division. This position is primarily administrative in nature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Business Affairs Manager by managing various administrative tasks related to the acquisition and commissioning of television broadcast, online, and digital rights.
  • Maintain databases, interpret correspondence, and perform word processing and other administrative duties.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of a portfolio that includes high-volume Main channel, Commissioned Content, and NACA deals, requiring effective prioritization and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Performing administrative duties to support a busy team.
  • Accurate input and maintenance of rights and financial data in the IBMS database, along with managing records in financial and file management systems.
  • Populating contract templates and purchase orders.
  • Preparing rights offers and communicating with suppliers.

Candidate Profile:

  • Committed to upholding high standards in all tasks, including complex rights data capture within established databases.
  • A keen interest in understanding the business and administrative aspects of content creation, particularly in TV and online rights and licensing.
  • Previous experience in Business Affairs within the Film and Television sector is advantageous, but strong interest combined with relevant skills will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of digital proficiency are essential.
