Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting
- Responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards, providing insights into business performance to support strategic decisions.
- Budgeting
- Leads the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic forecasts, monitor variances, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Cash Flow Management
- Oversees short and long-term cash flow planning and management, ensuring the business maintains adequate liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensures adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax, audit, and financial reporting obligations, maintaining a strong control environment.
- Team Leadership
- Manages and mentors the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development to build a high-performing and collaborative unit.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. Postgraduate qualifications such as CPA, CA, or CMA are highly desirable.
- 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems is essential.
- Experience implementing business-appropriate ERP systems is an advantage.
