Senior Academic Leader for Global Partnerships

Western Sydney University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the newly created role of Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global Partnerships.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for leading the development and delivery of the university's Transnational Education (TNE) and Global Partnership strategies. The role will drive strategic growth and improvements in systems and processes, positioning Western as 'one university with a global footprint'.

The key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives, advice, and direction
  • Providing governance, compliance, risk management, and quality assurance
  • Fostering stakeholder engagement and managing partnerships
  • Managing financial resources and reporting

The Senior Academic Leader for Global Partnerships will work collaboratively with the university community to lead the development of partnerships and global activities that drive the institution's international strategic vision in adherence to institutional, national, and international regulatory and legislative requirements.
