Job Overview

As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering superior security and network experiences for our customers. You will collaborate with your team to shape the security controls required within solution designs and support them to identify, communicate, and treat corresponding security risks.

Your continuous learning and improvement mindset, as well as collaboration skills, are essential to success in this role. You will deepen your knowledge and expertise in the Information, Engineering, and Cyber Security domains, including security technologies, cloud, and corporate networks.

Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Learning capabilities
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with capabilities
  • Upgrading and enhancing capabilities
  • Communication with customers/users, and product vendors

The Capabilities this position will be involved in will include some components within one or more of the following:

  • RHEL administration
  • End Point Security
  • Container Security
  • Splunk
  • SIEM
  • Network Security and visibility
  • Vulnerability Scanning
  • Privileged Access and Secrets Management
  • Other capabilities
  • Automation toolsets
  • DevSecOps workflows
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of NV1 AGSVA security clearance
  • Experience of Technical University Qualifications relevant to the role or Evidence of a minimum of at least three years or relevant recent experience
  • Able to support, manage, and maintain ICT capabilities to achieve contractual outcomes
  • Proven Linux administration/engineering skillsets that can be tested in an interview panel
