This role offers the opportunity to teach and mentor students in early childhood education and care, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge needed for their future careers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a bachelor degree in a relevant field and a post-graduate qualification or masters in education.

They will also have significant experience in industry-related fields, gained within the last five years, and possess high level written and oral communication skills in English.

In addition, they will have the ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting.

Other essential skills include commitment and ability to deliver quality customer service, teamwork, problem-solving and change management skills.

  • Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (AQF level 7) and a post-graduate qualification (AQF level 8) in a related field OR Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (AQF level 7) and a Masters of Education (Early Childhood)
  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
  • High level written and oral communication skills in English; Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments
  • Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment
  • Proven strengths in problem-solving and change management
