Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced operations professional to lead our dynamic team in Sydney. As an operations supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, managing staff, and collaborating across departments to drive operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams to achieve operational goals and drive performance to meet financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and ISO 9001 standards, develop and maintain operational procedures and protocols
  • Supervise daily warehouse and logistics operations, including training and performance monitoring of staff
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal service groups, providing expert guidance on inventory control and logistics processes
  • Deliver accurate monthly reports and maintain staff records

 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics operations, understanding of OH&S and relevant legislation
