Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic team and work on various equipment in different customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repair of Metso Mineral Processing Analytical Equipment at customer sites.
  2. Provide technical support and liaison services between customers, product divisions, and sales personnel.
  3. Analyze equipment failures and escalate questions to Technical Support and Engineering as needed.
  4. Prepare site visit reports, time sheets, and expenses after each visit.
  5. Support warranty process and Root Cause Analysis where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in Programmable Logic Controller & Distributed Control Systems would be advantageous.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills with high-level aptitude.
  • Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel.
  • Must have a valid motor vehicle license.
  • Must be physically fit and able to pass random medical and drug tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Able to work away from home for extended periods and hours, including weekends.
  • Awareness and understanding of Risk management and safety rule compliance.
  • Full OEM training on Metso Analytical Equipment provided.
