Establish a nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of preschool age children in our community-based long day care centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement early childhood programs that contribute to the educational and developmental outcomes for children under care.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in the provision of quality education and care services.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and well-being-focused environment for children.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements arising from the operation of the Centre.
  • Build strong relationships between parents, staff, and other organizations on behalf of the company.
  • Operate the Centre in a manner compatible with the objectives of the organization.
  • Complete observation records and update charts through an online communication system.

Selection Criteria:

Essential:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care;
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Training certificates;
  • Experience working with different age groups of children;
  • Ability to plan and create engaging, age-appropriate activities;
  • Commitment to teamwork;
  • Mature and responsible attitude towards work;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Working with Children Check.

Desirable:

  • Good computer literacy.
