Surgical Account Manager

At Alcon, we are driven by our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that improve people's lives. As a Surgical Account Manager, you will play a critical role in representing our company in Surgical Accounts and execution. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth by building strong relationships with customers, ensuring smooth coordination and business, and covering all cataract consumables, including Custom Paks.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute account plans to maximize Alcon penetration in major accounts

Create equipment leads, service contracts, and tender management (where needed) to ensure smooth business and opportunities across your territory

Provide end-to-end customer support for Cataract customers, helping coordinate specialist roles and activities

Map decision-making processes and key stakeholders to inform and implement business plans

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, representing Alcon and aligning with customers using a consultative sales approach

Play an active role in demand generation, following up with contract negotiations and preparing quotes with customers

Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in medical devices and/or pharma within a surgical environment

Deep knowledge of Cataract procedure, equipment, and consumables, and IOL offerings

Strong collaboration and coordination skills, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Ability to provide holistic solutions to customers and non-clinical stakeholders, considering their needs and budgets

Experience with CRM applications, such as Salesforce, to manage relationships and complete account and call planning
