Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to support our events team at Sydney Showground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional standards of product and service delivery.
  • Support Duty Managers with various event activities from planning to operations.
  • Implement effective inventory stock control systems.
  • Conduct staff training and development programs.
  • Manage POS operations using Square.
  • Oversee set-up, preparation, operations and breakdowns of events.
  • Maintain high standards of company grooming.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and lead by example.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines (HACCP).
Requirements
  • Current RSA Certificate.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Food Safety Supervisors Certificate.
  • Intermediate skills in Momentus or a similar event management system.
  • Experience in hospitality management for large events.
  • Proactive and adaptable attitude.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and delegation skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Exceptional planning and organization abilities.
  • Adaptable and responsive to change.
  • Legally entitled to live & work in Australia.
