Support Professional

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Support Team as a Support Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and assistance to clients.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that client's rights, cultural, spiritual and other individual needs are incorporated in all aspects of care and daily living.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Incorporating client's rights, cultural, spiritual and other individual needs into all aspects of care and daily living;
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to provide effective support to clients and recognising changes in clients' conditions;
  • Promoting quality activities and providing customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with clients, their relatives and friends;
  • Supporting colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or equivalent qualification;
  • Experience in a home care setting is highly desirable;
  • Comprehensive knowledge in community care with a commitment to high standards of care for clients and their families;
  • Understanding of client directed care.

Essential Requirements:

  • A current Working with Children check;
  • Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 vaccinations;
  • Australian working rights;
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance.
