About the Role

As a key member of the Truth and Treaty unit, you will play a critical role in coordinating and facilitating the department's response to the Yoorrook Justice Commission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the full life cycle of projects, including research, analysis, and implementation, to meet departmental objectives.
  • Manage projects or sub-projects, ensuring successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters.
  • Monitor and evaluate projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
  • Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders, preparing and presenting detailed reports, ministerial briefs, and cabinet submissions on complex matters.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnerships approach.
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit or visa.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
