The role of a Tenant and Leasing Officer (Maternity Cover) is to provide assistance in the management of properties and retail services.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing oversight of lease and retail management tasks.
  • Effectively managing customer relationships to ensure regular quality communications and contact with retailers.
  • Managing and conducting lease/property inspections to oversee presentation, safety standards compliance and maintenance of property assets.
  • Assisting with negotiation of property related contracts and leases.
  • Acting as a point of contact for tenants, internal and external stakeholders relating to lease and property management of owned assets.
  • Managing the process of reviewing all retail contractor documentation to ensure inductions maintain quality and standards in line with site safety requirements.
  • Working with the legal department to draft and review legal letters and documentations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Qualification in property or facilities management.
  • Demonstrated experience in a commercial property management role including solid understanding of commercial leasing practices, legislation, procedures and terminology.
  • Sound knowledge of project coordination, budget management, contract negotiation and administrative fundamentals.
  • Strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities and developments.
  • Well-developed people management skills with ability to build and foster key relationships.
