Category Management Position

We are currently seeking a seasoned and ambitious Category Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide category management expertise through sourcing, contract negotiation, and contractor management services.
  • Develop and execute full lifecycle activities, including sourcing strategy development, procurement planning, market assessment, negotiation, award, implementation, and contract management.
  • Support and influence environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives within the organization.
  • Leverage knowledge of category management and supply markets to achieve competitive advantage.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, reduce waste, and increase value for money.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, and/or supply chain management. You should have a proven track record of category management sourcing and contracts experience, as well as practical experience in negotiating and confirming negotiated outcomes into contracts.
