Aerial Operations Manager

Effective Aerial Operations Management is pivotal to our national flying program, providing fixed-wing border surveillance services under contract to the Australian Border Force.

This role involves coordination and support of daily flying operations and aircrew rosters. The job entails working in a rotating shift roster, ensuring all activities are conducted compliantly in line with standard operating procedures and meet regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimise operational performance and revenue through proactive monitoring and efficient management.
  • Continuously seek improvements to enhance the role's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with client organisations and Base Managers on operational issues.
  • Coordinate aircraft breakdowns and other operational limitations.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of tertiary qualifications in aviation is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of Year 12 completion.

Experience:

  • Technical and practical experience in aviation operations is essential.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
