As RocketDNA continues to expand operations across Australia, we are looking for energetic and dedicated drone pilots to join our team of professionals in the aerial survey and mapping space.
This role entails the planning and execution of drone flights from a Remote Operating Centre in either Perth or Adelaide.
This is a casual position with the option for flexible work, including night shifts and weekends.
The ideal candidate will already have an IREX rating or BVLOS accreditation.Responsibilities & Duties(Including but are not limited to the below)Execute and supervise all allocated flights at the remote operating centre during a shift; including flight planning & trackingAccountable for the safe operation of each droneConfident with radio communication across aviation networksAbility to work independently and efficientlyConduct aerial surveying and mapping tasks from the remote centreProcess flight data and complete documentationTrack & maintain all relevant flight and maintenance documentationDeliver quality professional services to our clients.Maintaining a high level of compliance within CASA regulations and requirementsQualificationsThe preferred candidate would have:Prior experience in the aviation industry - PPL or CPL would be an advantageMust have a drone licenseIREX Rating or BVLOS training– very beneficialExperienceRemote Operating Centre Experience – Very beneficialWillingness to grow, learn & work against a flexible scheduleRight to work in AustraliaJob Knowledge & SkillsAdvanced PC SkillBasic aeronautical principlesRelevant aviation laws and compliance policies
