Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred care to individuals with complex disabilities in Glen Waverley. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

This is a varied role that requires a high level of adaptability and flexibility. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication management, shopping, and cooking. You will also work closely with our clients to help them achieve their goals and live independently.

No two days are the same in this role, and you will be constantly challenged to think creatively and develop new solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.

About the Role:

  • Provide person-centred care to individuals with complex disabilities
  • Support clients with daily living activities, including personal care and medication management
  • Help clients achieve their goals and live independently
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a passion for working with people with disabilities
  • Enjoy a challenge and celebrate the little things
  • Demonstrate empathy and a caring attitude
  • Hold a valid NDIS check, CPR, and First Aid Certificate
  • Fully COVID vaccinated
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Relevant qualifications are favourable but not essential
