Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Hand to join our team at the Australian Agricultural Company's Aronui Feedlot. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our feedlot and maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including scraping pen surfaces, pushing manure in fence lines, and carting manure to stockpiles.
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of feedlot, feedmill, farm equipment, and vehicles.
- Ensure workplace health and safety procedures are maintained and adhered to.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, including floors, benches, and equipment.
- Work according to a maintenance program for all vehicle, plant, and machinery.
- Undertake regular services and overhauls, and complete repairs and maintenance using power tools, welders, and air tools.
- Fabricate, weld, and assemble structural metal products.
- Operate machinery when required and assist with general maintenance of buildings and station structures.
- Assist with livestock crew, when necessary, with animal health and processing.
