As a seasoned Senior Project Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pre-opening of The Star Brisbane, a cutting-edge entertainment and leisure destination in the heart of the Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct. Your expertise in project and change management will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results across planning and execution phases.


The Star Brisbane is poised to revolutionize the city's entertainment scene, offering a range of unique experiences, world-class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with senior business leaders to manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with our People strategy.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:



  • Collaborating with senior leaders to develop and implement project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and providing regular updates to the Steering committee and other governance forums.
  • Maintaining open communication with General Managers, project teams, and sponsors, ensuring they are informed of progress, risks, and proposed mitigation strategies.
  • Conducting project retros and post-implementation reviews to drive quality and process improvements within the project management team.

We are seeking an experienced and mature professional with a strong track record in people-related fields, particularly in leadership roles involving the delivery of high-risk and large projects. Your tertiary qualification in HR, Business management, Project management, or a related field will be essential.
