Transactions Lawyer

We are seeking a skilled lawyer to join our Corporate Team as an Associate or Senior Associate.
The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years' post-admission experience in corporate or transactional law, or be a strong commercial lawyer looking to work across both practice areas. They will be admitted to practise in Australia and possess a passion for delivering practical, logical, and useful legal solutions.
The role involves leading client matters from first meeting to completion, supporting the Associate Director in larger, complex matters, and mentoring junior lawyers to foster a culture of continuous growth and learning.
- Strategically lead and manage client matters
- Support Associate Director in leading larger, complex matters
- Lead due diligence processes and drive transaction execution
- Craft concise, impactful communications and legal documentation
- Set the standard for file management and deadline discipline
- Engage with external advisors, senior stakeholders, and clients
- Exercise sound judgment in interpreting and clarifying client objectives
- Apply advanced critical thinking to shape legal and commercial strategy
- Mentor, coach, and support junior lawyers
