Job Description

A Permit Supervisor role has become available at CPB Contractors, a leading international construction company and member of the CIMIC Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Cross River Rail Project, a major infrastructure development in Brisbane.

Your Opportunity

As a Permit Supervisor, you will manage rail corridor access and coordinate recipients for the RIS Works project. You will be accountable for developing and managing safe systems of work, implementing and managing a recipient permit system, and participating in weekly safety inspections and task observations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage safe systems of work, including recipient access with the Safety Management Plan and associated procedures.
  • Implement and manage a recipient permit system.
  • Develop permit procedures.
  • Assist with deliverables required for the project Monthly Reporting.
  • Participate in weekly Safety Inspections and Task Observations with the project delivery team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role on a Major Project.
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (Mandatory).
  • Cert IV in Health and Safety (Preferred).
  • Prior experience acting as a Person in Control of permitting systems.
  • Experience in delivery of training packages for permit systems.
