Pediatric Speech Pathologist

Yooralla is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team as a permanent, full-time or part-time Paediatric Speech Pathologist. This fulfilling role will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services across the scope of practice to children with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community, aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals.
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Provide evidence-based speech pathology services to children with a disability, promoting their participation and inclusion in their communities.
- Established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability.
- Ability to work in partnership with children with a disability to set and achieve goals.
- Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model.
- Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across southern suburbs as required.
