About the Role


We are seeking a highly experienced Rail and Civil Lead to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing consultancy services, engineering services, technical input, and direction in design in the ANZ region.


Your Impact


You will work alongside Principal Engineers to deliver projects, manage design, and oversee project management. You will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide technical input and direction in design
  • Collaborate with commercial, project management, engineering, and design technical leaders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Support the management of the team, in terms of team development and growth, building design capability, and growing the works portfolio
  • Represent the team at key thought leadership events
  • Drive business development and be responsible for work winning, identifying the next opportunities, and developing/supporting win themes

Requirements



  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering
  • Previous experience working on multidisciplinary transport and general civils infrastructure projects, with medium and high complexity, with a preference for rail industry experience
  • Significant knowledge and breadth of civil engineering aspects in transport engineering concepts and tasks
  • Strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, both internal and external Jacobs
