Job Title: Health Care Professional

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Care Professional to provide exceptional medical care and support services.


Overview of the Position

The selected candidate will oversee medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, and nursing care for individuals served. They will also serve as a clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate services with public and private health, mental health, and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
  • Assist individuals with preparation and recording of service planning processes.
  • Conduct assessments and treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and family counseling.
  • Participate in the development of educational curriculum.
  • Supervise and/or provide nursing treatment and monitoring.
  • Respond to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
  • Coordinate outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.

Compliance and Risk Management
  • Administer medication according to protocol.
  • Complete clinical documentation as required.
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state regulations, laws, and Recovery Innovations policies.
  • Understand and adhere to Recovery Innovations compliance standards.

Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes, and medical care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Valid and current state-specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred).
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions, and interactions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, problem solve, conduct assessments, and communicate effectively.
  • Trauma Informed Care experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must be able to pass de-escalation training as defined by state requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The position may require work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. Contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused is possible. Travel throughout the geographic region may be required.
