Medical Simulation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulation Technician to join our simulation department at Monash Children's Hospital.
About the RoleThis role will involve working on medical simulation educational activities, as well as contributing to the development of regional telehealth capabilities. The successful candidate will have opportunities for high-quality research using cutting-edge technologies, including additive manufacturing techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality simulation-based education to healthcare professionals and undergraduate students.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement simulation-based training programs.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art simulation equipment and facilities.
- Contribute to the development of regional telehealth capabilities, including telehealth services and telementoring.
- Pursue research opportunities in collaboration with Monash University.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A science degree or tertiary qualification (Human movement or exercise physiology or biomedical science).
- Experience in a specialist medical simulation and telehealth technical position.
- Advanced computer and technology skills.
