Job Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support our production team in optimizing manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and revise production documentation, including travelers, routings, drawings, work and inspection instructions, and BOMs, ensuring accurate information for quality product assembly.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements, including drafting change orders and deviations.
  • Effectively program production equipment.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to process, material, or equipment, minimizing downtime.
  • Design, assemble, procure, or modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment for efficient production methods.
  • Schedule, perform, and document routine maintenance on manufacturing and testing equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues at various levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), SolidWorks or similar, and Altium or similar.
  • Familiarity with electronics industry standards is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with lean methodology is advantageous.
  • Hands-on problem-solving capabilities and self-motivated approach.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform computer and desk work for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform machine and production-related tasks, requiring good hand/finger dexterity and eyesight.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
