Job Opportunity

This is a specialist role involving the delivery of expert clinical care to patients undergoing dialysis home therapy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective treatment plans, educating patients and staff on dialysis therapies, and monitoring patient progress.

  • Implement and maintain individualised treatment plans.
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on Peritoneal Dialysis and haemodialysis.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed to support optimal outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
  • Post registration qualification in Renal or working towards same.
  • Current Driving licence.
  • Minimum 24 months previous experience in Renal Nursing and/or experience with Peritoneal Dialysis essential.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of renal nursing principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously prioritising tasks and activities to foster good time management.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Nursing registration with AHPRA.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively. You should also have a strong understanding of renal nursing principles and practices, as well as experience working with patients who require dialysis therapy.
