Clinical Nephrology and General Medicine Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional, driven by motivation to deliver outstanding, evidence-based, and patient-centered care services.

The role involves providing nephrology services for both inpatients and ambulatory care patients, including conducting onsite clinics. Additionally, there will be an involvement in inpatient general medical on-call duties.

About the Hospital

This 280 bed acute and extended care facility provides surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services.

A high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries and work safety accidents occur in the region.

Requirements
  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Nephrology and Renal Medicine
  • On RACP training program
  • Hold the FRACP
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable
