Early Childhood Education Career Opportunity

Tamborine Mountain Community Kindergarten is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Nominated Supervisor/Business Manager to join our team.

This permanent part-time role (50 hours a fortnight) is available for an immediate start. We offer flexible days and times, supporting both our kindergarten programs, families, and educators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kindergarten, supported by the Lady Gowrie support team, Offsite Bookkeeper, and Executive Committee.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment, ensuring the ongoing success of our education and care program.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote high-quality early childhood education and care.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent, recognized by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is required.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, and National Quality Framework.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • Current BlueCard (Working with Children Check).
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to children, parents, community, and staff with warmth and respect.
