Clinical Education Specialist

The Nurse Educator plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of education programs within clinical environments.
This key position collaborates with various departments to ensure equitable access to educational support and resources, thereby enhancing staff skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for healthcare professionals working in clinical settings.
- Collaborate with Nursing Unit Managers and other stakeholders to enhance staff competence and improve patient care outcomes.
- Evaluate current practices and implement changes to ensure best available evidence is applied in education portfolios and programs.
- Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality education programs that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Relevant postgraduate education qualifications or equivalent postgraduate clinical qualifications.
- Extensive clinical knowledge and experience in acute care settings, particularly in Perioperative environments.
- Strong ability to integrate theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to develop innovative education strategies.
- Able to work autonomously and effectively collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry advancements.
