This role is based in our Head Office, Grosvenor Place, Sydney.

What you'll contribute to The Business Intelligence Analyst is a key role within the Business Intelligence team responsible for responding to and delivering on Business Intelligence (BI) requests from the Data Office's customers.
The ultimate goal of the Business Intelligence analyst is to create actionable insights from raw data and assist TFA in making better, data-driven decisions which will lead to improved overall customer experiences and company performance.
The requests will include creation of new dashboards within the approved tools and conforming to agreed policies, standards and frameworks; the subsequent maintenance and enhancements of existing business intelligence assets; and ad hoc, one-off requests for data and insights.
This role will collaborate with colleagues within the data office and business stakeholders from the broader organisation to ensure Business Intelligence requests deliver robust, reliable and effective solutions to the Data Office's customers.
The position requires a sound knowledge of Business Intelligence techniques and preferably previous financial services experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail and personal drive.
Given the wide range of customer's that we service you may be required to have or develop specialised skillsets and experience relevant to certain business stakeholders such as Adobe or Google Analytics, speech analytics and other proprietary systems.
This role will work to support teammates in continuously evolving and improving all that they do.
This will include participating in testing, peer reviews and identifying and actioning opportunities for continuous improvement.
How you'll make an impact Respond to Business Intelligence Requests Understanding stakeholder needs through direct stakeholder engagement, getting to understand the stakeholder's business in detail and conducting elaboration sessions.
Shadow and assist in the development of the proposed solution to deliver the requested business intelligence to the customer within agreed SLAs Respond to business intelligence requests Perform unit testing and quality assurance of your own work Early identification of blockers, issues or technical concerns Publish and maintain relevant process, solution and asset documentation Support the continuous improvement of Business Intelligence processes, standards and frameworks Test and Review Business Intelligence Solutions Perform peer reviews to ensure high quality outputs for the team Perform system testing (or equivalent) of peer's solutions to ensure it meets the requirements and high standards of the Business Intelligence team Support user acceptance testing (UAT)Monitor and enhance existing Business Intelligence assets Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand their drivers and needs Continuously monitor Business Intelligence assets to ensure optimum operation and function Raise incidents and change requests as applicable to track issues and opportunities for improvement (including data quality)Resolve incidents and deliver enhancements to ensure assets continue to be relevant and deliver value.
Collaborate and Continuous Improvement Active participation within the team and broader TFA such as in meetings, events, in-office days and activities (including those related to TFAs corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion)Continuous personal and professional development through setting and achieving of relevant development goals Completion of mandatory training Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives either individually or as part of a team1 – 2 years+ Business Intelligence Analyst or equivalent roles.
Experience with Power BI and other similar BI tools.
Experience with ETL and SQL, including building data models, transforming raw datasets into actionable insights, and writing complex queries for reporting and analysis Prior experience working in agile environment Understanding of business intelligence within sales, operations and support functions, process and case management reporting, including KPI & SLA monitoring.
Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, report writing and workshop facilitation Working experience with Databricks and JIRA would be highly regarded Confident with speaking with stakeholders at all levels Life at Toyota & What we offer you We pride ourselves on a work culture that supports and rewards people.
