Job Title: Senior Applications Support Analyst

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Support Analyst to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Applications Support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our users, ensuring the smooth operation of our trading systems, and contributing to the development and maintenance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and to develop and implement solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our applications, including testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new applications and systems, and provide input on technical feasibility and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and release notes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and services.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in an Applications Support role, with a strong background in technical support and problem-solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and C++.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
